Three Tasty Smoothies

Just try them - you'll like them! The flavour combos will surprise you.

Equipment

  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Blender
  • Glasses for serving

Ingredients

  • VANILLA DATE SMOOTHIE
  • 1 cup (250 mL) milk
  • 1 small banana, broken into chunks
  • 1/4 cup (60 mL) vanilla yogurt
  • 4 pitted Medjool dates
  • 1/4 Tsp (1 mL) ground nutmeg
  • CHOCOLATE MILK & P.B. SMOOTHIE
  • 1 cup (250 mL) chocolate milk
  • 1 small banana, broken into chunks
  • 2 Tbsp (30 mL) peanut butter
  • 1/4 Tsp (1mL) ground cinnamon
  • CRANRASPBERRY
  • 1 cup (250 mL) milk
  • 3/4 cup (175 mL) raspberry or mixed berry yogurt
  • 1 cup (250 mL) raspberries
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) fresh or frozen cranberries
  • 2 Tbsp (30 mL) liquid honey

Directions

  1. In a blender, combine the list of ingredients for the smoothie of your choice.
  2. Purée until smooth.
  3. Pour into 2 or 3 glasses.
