A quick guide to local foods in BC – during the winter!

What’s in Season?

It’s easy to think of seasonal and local products in the summer time, but what about the winter? The folks at Buy Local. Eat Natural. are a great resource for this very question. In BC, the various climates offer a wide variety of fruits, vegetables, herbs, and meats all throughout the year. Plentiful early-winter fruits and vegetables include apples, cranberries, beets, and brussels sprouts.
