Canada's Food Guide recommends that all Canadians age two or over (including adults) should drink (500 ml) 2 cups of milk every day. Milk has suprisingly few calories and little fat. After pasteurization, milk goes to a separator where it is then added back in to milk to create milk of different fat content. Skim milk has virtually no fat in it.
Recent surveys show that the overwhelming majority of adults in Canada are not meeting recommendations for milk and milk products.
