A variation on an old favourite.

Equipment

  • Frying pan
  • Small bowl

Ingredients

  • 1 veggie patty
  • 1 Tbsp (15 mL) vegetable oil
  • 1 cup (250 mL) spaghetti sauce
  • 2 Tbsp (30 mL) parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Cut the veggie patty into quarters.
  2. Dip each quarter quickly into warm water and roll into a ball.
  3. Fry in oil until golden brown.
  4. Add spaghetti sauce and simmer for 10–15 minutes.
  5. Serve on pasta or rice.
  6. Top with parmesan cheese.
