This year marked our fourth (that’s right, fourth!) annual Hands-On Cook-Off challenge to families across BC!
This year, Better Together BC introduced a Youth Category in addition to the Multigeneration category. We received 42 fantastic entries from families across BC over a one-month period. To all the families and youth who submitted this year, THANK YOU for inviting us into your kitchens!
Grand and runner up prizes in each category were chosen by a panel of judges including Michael Eckford; Bobs & Lolo; Karen Humphrey, and Barb Kemp. Here are the 2013 Hands-on Cook-off Contest winners…
Youth Stream
First place goes to The Tasty Little Net Clam Linguini
The Runner up is Vanilla Tofu Surprise
Multi-generational Stream
First place goes to Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Dip Dip
The Runner-up is Lila’s Spot Prawn Pasta
People’s Choice award
Caveman Girls received the most votes overall from the general public and won this year’s People’s Choice award.
Random Draw Prize
The Random Draw Prize goes to Salmon Sandals.
