Between May 9th and June 19th, BC had another reason to love dining out. We partnered with 31 local restaurants in Metro Vancouver, Victoria, and Kelowna to offer meals featuring local dairy products, and pledged a donation to Food Banks BC for each order. By the end of the campaign, 49,735 qualifying meals had been ordered, showing BC wanted to grab something delicious with an extra helping of helping out.
The campaign may have wrapped, but our partner restaurants are still serving up feel-good food near you.

“For Food Banks BC, the impact of this campaign is significant and two-fold. Firstly, the funds are hugely significant and come at such a critical time as more and more people turn to food banks with so many struggling to keep up with the increases we’re seeing in living costs. Secondly, the awareness that this campaign raises about the work of food banks and the importance of partnerships such as this with BC Dairy is of such great importance.”
– Dan Huang-Taylor, Executive Director of Food Banks BC.
Food Banks BC is the provincial association of food banks. Our membership comprises of 105 hunger relief agencies throughout British Columbia.
We support our members through the provision of resources that assist their efforts to tackle hunger in communities they represent. This is achieved through the distribution of food and financial donations, providing access to training and capacity building programs, networking opportunities, and as a representative voice to speak to the needs of food banks as well as the hundreds of thousands of British Columbians who face ongoing food insecurity.
Our vision is a hunger-free British Columbia.
