Passport to Healthy Living / Passeport pour une vie saine (Grades 4-7)

Intermediate Teachers

Help grade 4-7 students plan a healthy living activity integrating physical activity, nutrition and environmental awareness by booking a Passport to Healthy Living workshop. What a perfect way to do some place-based education!

Passport to Healthy Living kit includes:

  • Lesson Plans
  • DVD and case studies
  • Four food group poster
  • Class set of student passports

Program materials are only available to teachers who have taken the corresponding workshop. Why take a nutrition education workshop? Watch this two-minute video!

It is free to attend the workshop. There is a one time cost of $15 to purchase the initial kit - student materials and any program updates are re-supplied annually free of charge.

    We have a Passport to Healthy Living Workshop coming up in Vancouver on Sept 30, 2016 from 1-2pm. Would you be able to attend that?

    If not, you can either get a group together of 5 (or more) teachers interested in taking the workshop and we will come to you (on an early dismissal day, after school or on a Pro-D Day). Or, you could come to our office in Burnaby to have a workshop just for you. If you take the workshop before Oct 7, 2016, you are then eligible for our mini food grants for this year as well.

    Let me know if any of those options work for you. (I have also emailed you these details.)
