The 16th Annual Pacific Agriculture Show took place from January 30th to February 1st, 2014. The BC Agriculture Council hosts its annual Agriculture Gala the evening before the Pacific Ag Show kicks off. These two events bring together the entire BC agricultural community and provides an opportunity for sharing, learning and socializing.
At this years Agriculture Gala the BC Dairy Association and BC Agriculture Council’s joint program ‘Buy Local, Eat Natural’ was featured. This program is a great example of different members and suppliers of the local agriculture industry coming together and showcasing the best food and products BC has to offer.
Every year BC Dairy Association hosts a booth at the Pacific Ag Show with Delilah our fibreglass cow and a special visit from the Mobile Dairy Classroom Experience on the final day of the event. The Pacific Ag show is well attended by the dairy community and provides producers the opportunity to learn about current technology, education and services to help them manage their farms.
BC Dairy Association will be attending the Vancouver Island Agriculture Show on February 7th & 8th, so keep an eye out for us!
