Exact cow feed rations are determined at the individual farm level in consultation with veterinarians and animal nutrition experts. Milk from BC farms is tested for quality at the farm and then again at the processor before being blended with other milk for processing into numerous products.
Organic standards do not allow for the use of palm products in feed, so consumers can opt to purchase organic milk or milk products if they would like.
