Economic Impact of BC’s dairy, egg and poultry industries

This recent report by Price Waterhouse Coopers (PwC) finds BC’s dairy, egg and poultry farmers are driving job growth within the provincial agricultural sector. Supply managed farms provide 5.6 billion in annual economic output.  As of 2011, BC’s dairy, egg and poultry producers experienced greater job growth than either the forestry and mining or oil and gas sectors!
