Have we loved our bodies and loved ourselves lately?

We can all help raise awareness about eating disorder at school, home or work.

The Provincial Eating Disorders Awareness (PEDAW) campaign launches in February! Join the “Love Our Bodies, Love Ourselves” movement.

Start some meaningful and engaging discussions, as well as activities at school, home or work.

Want your classroom to be involved?

  • Order the official “Love Our Bodies, Love Ourselves” wristbands and participate in the wristband challenge! Grab your camera, take a photo with the wristband during the week of February 1-7th, 2015, and post to the movement’s Twitter account: www.twitter.com/loveourbodies and Facebook page: www.facebook.com/loveourbodiesloveourselves. Keep watching for local celebrities taking part in the challenge!
  • Help bring awareness to eating disorders by wearing #Purple4PEDAW on February 6th, 2015!
  • Host an event in your community. Check the PEDAW in a Box guide for plenty of ideas!
  • Encourage high school students to send an affirmation or positive thought to the “Love Our Bodies, Love Ourselves!”Facebook page. They can also send the link to their friends, families, and networks to bring awareness to the campaign.
