Last month, the Buy Local. Eat Natural. community was invited to submit their local cooking tips for a chance to win a spot in the “Get Your Aprons Dirty” contest. This past Saturday, the 10 lucky winners, and their guest, gathered at The Dirty Apron cooking school to cook with Chef David Robertson. The holiday-themed menu prepared the class with tips to produce gourmet meals for their friends and families this coming Christmas season.

Chef David’s festive menu used ingredients that were in season and locally available. Here’s what was made: Squash & Apple Soup, Pear & Apricot Stuffed Pork Loin on a bed of Homemade Spaetzle, and Apple Almond Tart. These were easy to make and it tasted fantastic!
