Mobile Dairy Classroom Experience closes for the winter

After a very busy fall the Mobile Dairy Classroom Experience will be completing it’s final school visit of 2012 on November 20^th. The program was able to visit 41 schools between September and November, educating an estimated 10,250 students about the dairy industry here in BC. Highlights of the fall include a five day, 10 school tour to Vancouver Island between November 5 and 9. Teachers and students have been very receptive to the program and appreciate that it is an educational and entertaining program that brings the farm experience to the school. The success of the program is attributed to its dedicated staff and the ongoing support of local dairy producers who supply cows for the program. Due to an overwhelming amount of interest and requests for school visits, the Mobile Dairy Classroom Experience will begin its Spring school visit season as early as the first week of March.
