The Mobile Dairy Classroom Experience conducted a school visit in Brackendale, BC on Thursday April 11th, 2013. This was the first time the dairy classroom ventured into the District of Squamish. Facilitator Kelsey Epton and Presenter Marie Baars left Chilliwack 3:00AM to begin the journey to Brackendale. The crew conducted four presentations to 180 students between the start of school and lunchtime. The school was ecstatic to have the program visit the school. The school appreciated the opportunity to have the dairy classroom educate their students about the dairy industry and allow them to see two real cows and a calf. A special thank you to dairy producer Allan De Jong for providing the cows and calf for this visit.
