The Mobile Dairy Classroom heads North for a week long tour of local schools
The Mobile Dairy Classroom Experience will be on tour from June 2nd to June 6th, visiting 8 elementary schools and 1 school district wide event in the Northern Okanagan. The Mobile Dairy Classroom Experience will be visiting schools in Armstrong, Enderby, Kelowna and Kamloops, making it’s way across BC’s Okanagan region.
The Mobile Dairy Classroom Experience will be bringing the dairy farm to 2 schools each day, as well as the Kamloops School District Agricultural Day on June 6th. Each presentation will go through interesting facts about cows, milk, and the dairy industry in BC. The show will conclude with a live milking and calf feeding demonstration. Students will have the opportunity to learn about BC’s local dairy industry and the importance of milk in a healthy well balanced diet.
