Milk and Cookies for Canuck Place Returns for 2025

BC’s dairy farmers to match $30,000 in support of children with life-threatening illnesses.

Vancouver, B.C. – February 24, 2025 – Back for the 7th consecutive year, British Columbians have the chance to make a significant difference in the lives of children with life-threatening conditions through the Milk & Cookies for Canuck Place fundraiser, proudly presented by BC Dairy. From February 2 to March 31, BC’s dairy farmers will match every dollar donated up to a total of $30,000, in support of Canuck Place Children’s Hospice.

Here’s how you can get involved:

The funds will aid Canuck Place, the only provider of pediatric palliative care in BC and the Yukon, currently caring for over 920 children with life-threatening illnesses and their families.

BC’s dairy farmers believe in the power of community and the importance of supporting families in their most challenging moments,” said Casey Pruim, Board Chair for BC Dairy. “By matching donations, we hope to inspire even more generosity and help provide critical palliative care, comfort, and support to children and families at Canuck Place.”

“The Canuck Place kitchen is the heart of our house. Our cookies are famous for bringing joy to our children and families. They’re a symbol of comfort, warmth, and the little moments that make a big difference. We’re grateful to BC’s dairy farmers for supporting the Milk & Cookies fundraiser, and helping us keep our cookie jar full.” — Dawn Clarke, Manager, Support Services at Canuck Place
