The Mobile Dairy Classroom Experience is on tour and making its way across Vancouver Island this week, visiting 11 schools in just 5 days!
The Mobile Dairy Classroom Experience is an education based program aimed to essentially bring the farm to the classroom. Based in the Lower Mainland, the Mobile Dairy Classroom Experience tours across BC to educate the public about BC’s dynamic and local dairy industry.
As BC’s population becomes increasingly urban, the Mobile Dairy Classroom Experience strives to provide a link and make transparent the process from the dairy farm to your family’s dinner table. Milk in BC is a local product and most dairy farms are family owned and operated. Through the Mobile Dairy Classroom Experience presentations, the audience has the opportunity to learn about cows, the dairy industry in BC, and see a live cow milking and calf feeding demonstration right before their eyes!
