Buttermilk Marinated Turkey Breast with Garlic and Herbs
This buttermilk turkey breast is marinated ahead of time to create a flavourful and tender texture. This one is for you if you're looking for an easy Thanksgiving meal or a quick dinner.

Ingredients
2 turkey breasts
2 cups (500ml) buttermilk
1 tbsp (15ml) garlic powder
½ tsp (2.5ml) dried oregano
½ tsp (2.5ml) dried thyme
½ tsp (2.5ml) black pepper
1 tsp salt (5ml)
3 tbsp (45ml) butter, room temp.
2 tsp (10ml) garlic, chopped
1 tsp (5ml) chives, sliced
1 tsp (5ml) thyme, chopped
1 tsp (5ml) parsley, chopped
1 tsp (5ml) sage, chopped
salt and pepper
Directions
Combine buttermilk with garlic powder, dried oregano, dried thyme, ½ tsp pepper and 1 tsp salt.
Place turkey breast in a resealable plastic bag with buttermilk mixture and let marinate for at least 4 hours but best for 24 hours.
Preheat oven to 375˚F (190˚C) and place a rack on a baking sheet.
In a bowl combine butter, garlic, chives, thyme, parsley and sage.
Now remove the turkey from the marinade and place onto the rack. Smear the top side of the turkey with the herbed butter and season with salt and pepper.
Place sheet pan into the oven and roast turkey for about 30-35 minutes until reaches 165˚F (74˚C) internal temperature. Enjoy with your favourite sides!
