Equipment

  • Small cup
  • Small saucepan
  • Shallow pan or Tupperware container
  • Large bowl or cup
  • Knife
  • Serving

Ingredients

  • 2 cups strong brewed coffee
  • 10g (one package) gelatin
  • 2 tbsp hot water
  • ⅓ cup sugar
  • 1 cup 2% milk
  • 2 tbsp condensed milk

Directions

  1. Prepare the Gelatin: In a small cup, mix the gelatin with 2 tablespoons of hot water to bloom it. Stir until the gelatin dissolves completely.
  2. Make the Coffee Mixture: In a small saucepan, combine the brewed coffee and sugar. Add the bloomed gelatin and bring the mixture to a boil. Stir continuously until the gelatin is fully dissolved.
  3. Chill the Coffee Jelly: Pour the coffee mixture into a shallow pan or a Tupperware container. Use a spoon to remove any air bubbles on the surface. Place the pan in the fridge and chill for at least 5 hours, or until the mixture sets.
  4. Cut the Jelly: Once set, remove the coffee jelly from the fridge and cut it into cubes.
  5. Prepare the Milk Mixture: In a large bowl or cup, mix the 2% milk and condensed milk until well combined.
  6. Serve: Divide the coffee jelly cubes into individual serving cups. Pour the milk mixture over the coffee jelly cubes, and serve chilled. Enjoy!
